  o Misc cleanups suggested by npm-groovy-lint.
  o Removed call to showCommands, installers working so visual feedback
    no longer needed.
  o Comment "set -eu -o pipefail" for now.  Something is failing
    during the script run but difficult to determien from messages
    and context so add more debugging.
